NOBU HOTEL Miami Beach to Host Exclusive DANCONIA Pop-Up Art EVENTS beginning August 2024

Join internationally acclaimed Pop Artist Sean Danconia one-of-a-kind art experiences at the iconic NOBU Hotel, Miami Beach. Beginning August 2024, Danconia will showcase his dynamic pop-surreal artwork in exclusive exhibits and live painting sessions at the hotel’s chic poolside Loft. Guests are invited to witness Danconia’s vibrant, eclectic style in action as he creates special edition artwork live during this unforgettable afternoon.

Danconia’s art, known for its playful fusion of cult cinema, pop culture, animation and esoteric symbolism, has captivated audiences worldwide. His signature style, which he calls 'UltraMod,' combines hand-painted elements with digital and 3D mediums to deliver strikingly original pieces that break the mold of traditional pop art. His bold creative voice has attracted collaborations with global brands like Disney, New Balance and Warner Music., and his work has been featured in prestigious venues from Los Angeles to London.

This pop-up marks the launch of the collaboration between Danconia and NOBU, which began when NOBU's team first discovered his work at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Garden's Taste of Asia event earlier this year. Following that, Danconia was invited to participate in a special event at the hotel in August. The partnership launches with a high-energy blend of culture and creativity, set against one of Miami Beach's most iconic settings.

“I’ve long admired NOBU’s world-renowned hospitality, and it’s an honor to share my work with their guests,” says Danconia. “Thrilled to create customized, unique artwork for NOBU's Miami audience, combining my love of Japanese culture with the luxurious energy of Miami Beach.”
